  8. This new beta player for The 11th Hour improves performance on lower-end
  9. machines.  Because it is still beta, it is currently not supported by
  10. Virgin or Trilobyte; however, we have made this beta available because it
  11. does help to eliminate choppy audio on some systems.
  12.  
  13. To install the update, do the following:
  14. * Change to the directory where you installed The 11th
  15.   Hour (i.e. CD\GAMES\11H)
  16. * Insert the update disk into your disk drive.
  17. * Type COPY A:\V32.EXE
  18. * Type GO to run the game.
  19.  
  20. If you determine that the beta player does not perform to your satisfaction,
  21. use the following instructions to return to the original version of the game:
  22. * Change to the directory where you installed The 11th
  23.   Hour (i.e. CD\GAMES\11H)
  24. * Insert the first CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  25. * Type COPY D:\SYSTEM\V32.EXE  (If your CD-ROM drive is not "D", use the
  26.   correct letter for your CD-ROM drive.)
  27. * Type GO to run the game.

  30. This is a groovie(tm) compatible player which has been beta tested by
  31. Trilobyte and fixes a number of issues in the original player for The
  32. 11th Hour.  This is a beta release and is not officially supported.

  34. This version of the player only supports 16-bit color.
